Orange AHRC’s 8th Annual Bill Volpe Golf Classic will be held on Thursday, June 20th at the Powelton Club in Newburgh. The day begins at 11am with a BBQ lunch, followed by a 12:30pm shotgun for 18 holes of golf. Golfers can then enjoy a cocktail hour followed by dinner and prizes. The cost is $175/per person and all proceeds benefit the developmentally disabled population supported by Orange AHRC.

Back To School Community Outreach will be providing students with a full supplied backpacks from donor businesses and organizations. Eligible students between K-12 will receive: One Backpack with supplies such as: Pencils,Erasers,Colored pencils,Crayons,Pens Glue sticks,Paper and other grade appropriate items. Backpacks and supplies will be distrusted to students prior to the 2013-2014 school year. It will be held on August 10, 2013- Rain Date: August 17, 2013 and is Open to Public: 10 am to 5 pm. It will be held on Saturday July 13th at the Rotary Park in Kingston. This event will be a 2.5 mile fun run with Christmas themed obstacles throughout the route. The purpose of this even is to raise funds for their Holiday Gift Program for Ulster County children, ages infant to 12 years old; providing gifts for local children. It will be held on Sunday July 21st at the St. Joseph's School, 148 Windsor Hwy, New Windsor, NY 12553 from 10am-4pm. Registration will be held from 8am-10am with goodie bags to the first 100 cars. Pre-registration is $15, registration on the day of the show is $20, vendor spots $20. Proceeds to benefit the St. Joseph's Church and Knights of Columbus Council 444. St. Vincent's Church in Dingmans Ferry. Route 739, 1/2 mile north of Log Tavern Road will hold Bingo on Fridays throughout the summer starting May 31st 'til October 11th. Doors open at 5:30. Free dabber on May 31st. |
