First Presbyterian Church, 30 Goshen Avenue, Washingtonville, will host its annual Chicken Barbecue on Saturday, June 8th. The dinner will be held on the church lawn (in the church social hall if it rains). There will be continuous serving from 5-7 PM. This annual community event will feature ½ chicken, potato salad, cole slaw, 3-bean salad, rolls, dessert, coffee, tea, juice and some lawn fun. Tickets are $12 adults, $10 senior/military, $8 half portion and may be ordered by calling the church office at 496-3814 - TAKE OUTS AVAILABLE |

The Minisink Reformed Church will sponsor a Yard Sale to be held at the Minisink Pavilion, 300 Clove Road, Montague NJ on Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 9 am until 3 pm . The Sale will be held rain or shine. Inside space with table and 2 chairs is available at $30. Outside (12’ x 12’ space) at $20. Call 973-293-8356 or 845-699-4811 to reserve a spot. Minisink Reformed Church holds Chicken BBQ |

The Minisink Reformed Church will hold their annual Chicken BBQ on Saturday, July 27, 2012 from noon until 4 pm. The BBQ will be located at 300 Clove Road, Montague NJ. The pavilion is next to the main entrance to the High Point Country Club. This year, the Sussex Chicken will be making a return visit to the BBQ. Bring your camera and have your picture taken with her. There will also be entertainment during the BBQ.
Last year’s BBQ was sold out. Tickets are Adults $12 and Children $6. To purchase tickets, see any church member or call 973-293-3514 or 973-222-8904. |

The Kingston Farmers' Market celebrates the Opening Day of the Uptown Market on Saturday, May 25th, from 9:00 a.m.
until 2:00 p.m. Join local dignitaries at the vine-cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m. Master Gardeners from Cornell Cooperative Extension will be on hand to answer your gardening questions. Come early for their plant giveaway. Music, face painting, and balloon twisting add to the festive flare of Opening Day. Come shop the over 30 vendors offering flavorful fares such as fresh fruits and vegetables, organic and natural meats, a wide assortment of cheeses, wine, breads and other baked goods, honey, fresh-cut flowers and so much more! Because healthy eating is for everyone, FMNP & EBT are naturally accepted. The Market will continue, rain or shine, every Saturday through November 23rd. The Kingston Farmers' Market will be located one block down from its previous location on Wall Street, now between Main & JohnStreets, still in the Historic Stockade District of Uptown Kingston.
