Van Has been in the Broadcast Industry for over 40 years. His first break came in the mid 70’s when he went to work for WPTR in Albany, NY. After spending several years there, Van moved to the Hudson Valley to continue his Radio career at WKIP in Poughkeepsie. Van did mornings at WKIP until signing Q92 on the air in 1989 where he continued as the Hudson Valley’s most highly rated morning radio personalities. In 2004 Van moved to Orlando to become the voice of The Golf Channel and then The PGA Tour. In 2009 Van returned to The Hudson Valley to do mornings at WGNY (Fox Oldies 1220 & Fox Oldies 98.9). Van is an entertainer, combining Humor with controversial subjects. Join Van Mon through Fri mornings from 6-10 am on Fox Oldies 1220 Fox Oldies 98.9 for a fun informative radio program.
Van’s passions are Skiing, Golf and doing voice over’s. Van is the voice of THE MTA in NYC, the voice of Ripley’s Believe it or Not, the voice of the “Disaster” ride at Universal Studios in Orlando and many other National companies. |
